The book itself is about how music is in us all. Sacks examines the extreme effects of music on the human brain and how lives can be utterly transformed by the simplest of harmonies. He writes the book through referenced individual short stories about people whose lives have been changed.
The original book cover itself is boring and unappealing. I feel a book jacket will need to be more expressive maybe hidden with meaning.
The only thing that is any way interesting in the cover is the original unique font used, and how lettering has replace notes in a music lineup.
